New axis-lock type design?

At "www.gerberblades.com", I noticed that they have a design called the Chameleon. It doesn't appear to be a linerlock, or a lockback, but an axis lock! It also has a hole in the handle for a different grip. Am I right about this being similar to an axis lock, or am I simply confused?

As you probably saw on the website, it is a "Bolt Action" type lock, which is different than an Axis lock. How so, I don't know, but theirs a difference. -AR
