New Axis models?

Supposedly a new axis based on the Ares from Allen Elishewitz is going to debut at the SHOT show.

Thanks. Hmm... The Shot Show... That's less than a week after my birthday! YAAAY! How long after that do you think it will be before that knife is available to us?
How likely is it that Benchmade will release the 705/710 in any other steel(s)?

There is no telling how long it will be before they are readily available. I would also imagine that since they produce a m-2 version of alot of their knives that a m-2 version of the axis would be likely, but an axis lock AFCK would be a sure winner and Benchmade has said no. The ares can be viewed at www.elishewitzknives.com

OK, understand that this is JUST A RUMOR, but it came from a pretty reliable source. There is some speculation that Benchmade may be preparing for production of an AFCK Axis, but like I said it is only a rumor. Honestly folks, if enough people want it, it WILL happen.
