Hey guys,

I just ordered a Benchmade Adamas 375 fixed-blade last night (absolute total impulse buy, the girlfriend might actually kill me this time) and I had a few questions based on the reviews I had read. A lot of folks say the included Tek Lok doesn't fit the sheath quite right, which is fine for me, because this guy is going on my pack anyway. However, I am curious if anyone has had any experience using the BladeTech MOLLE Lok with this particular knife. I have a pair of large Gen 3 MOLLE Loks left over from a recent 7Rattles Sheath I received (amazing quality, btw) and was wondering how well they might fit; otherwise, should I abandon the notion of BladeTech entirely and just lash it up the old-fashioned way with paracord?

tl;dr - Adamas fixed doesn't fit Tek Lok; will MOLLE Lok fit? Do I use paracord instead? Find out next week on Dragon Ball Z?

Thanks guys!

Should work with a combination of Molle or Teklok (small) (using 2 screws only)

Thanks for the advice. I took a chance on the MOLLE Lok and it actually worked out great. Was able to secure the sheath to the stick with 4 screws. Check below:

Good work, that looks perfectly secure and clean as can be. Does it get in the way of the pack when worn? I guess I am asking if the height overall is comfortable?

It's actually perfectly comfortable. That pack is a MOAB 10 from 5.11 with a single strap, so it's meant to be strapped over-under across the chest. It helps to have broad shoulders, as the knife sits comfortably across my chest, doesn't get anywhere near my face or in the way. If I'm in a hurry to move, I can just carry over my shoulder like a regular pack, and it still sits comfortably. I used to keep my ESEE 3 strapped the same way and never had an issue.

Very nice setup. I love tek and molle locks.

They're a great tool, no doubt. I just bought a pair of small MOLLE locks to take up less real estate on my bag, and they fit both the Benchmade sheath and my Armatus ESEE sheath beautifully.

My cousin saw my Benchmade in use this weekend when I was moving, said he was DEFINITELY buying one, and having me wrap the handle the next time I'm out his way :D
