I just finished this small or baby bowie. I don't make many bowies. It's been almost six months since my last one so this is kind of a big deal to me. The blade is 5 5/8" long, 1095 steel, walnut handle, steel fittings. I still need to make a leather sheath for it. I appreciate your comments. Sorry for the bad photography but thanks for looking.

It's cute as the dickens! Beautiful hamon. As a traditionalist and lover of Bowies, there's nothing about this I don't like.

Nice, clean work, Ray! Really like this one. You need to be making a bowie or two more often.

Thanks guys for the comments. I really like the way this one turned out. I just wish I could take better pictures. I enjoy making bowies but I don't make them very often because they're not good money makers for me. I can make a linerlock or framelock in half the time it takes me to make a bowie and sheath. For me, folders are also much easier to sell as well as user grade outdoorsmen type knives.:)

I got to take a look at this one tonight, and it turned out really nice. The pictures don't do it justice.

Wow what an amazing blade my friend. How much would one to these be sold for? Thank you and keep up the great work.

This knife makes me want to go make something small. I like it a lot! Great work and thanks for showing it!

great job Ray, I have been following the folders you have been making:thumbup: nice to see the bowie:thumbup:

Love it. One of these days, I'm gonna have to talk you into making me something similar. :)

Nice and clean small coffin, Ray !
The single pin looks great, lovely walnut.

Love it, Ray. It has everything in it that I like about your work. Haven't seen very many hamons on your knives - this one is exceptionally nice.
