got it yesterday,large classic sebby with snakewood inlays,got it from true north knives.

That's a beauty. The wood inlays always make for a really pretty piece. Don't you just love the quality of workmanship :eek: :eek: :D

Wow - that's a fine example of snakewood for a classic inlay. Congratulations on an excellent acquisition!

I always thought that I would probably go for one of the woods with less figuring, e.g. African Blackwood, or Ebony, simply because on an inlay that size the character doesn't really have room to stand out. That snakewood inlay has me thinking twice about that line of reasoning though...

is it just me or are the wood inlays a little larger/less space in between the 2 strips?
the pattern on the wood even matches up :eek:
