That's very handsome. I've always wondered, when making a back lock is the lock bar hardened to the same Rockwell as the blade steel, or is it left at more of a spring temper and the tang of the blade annealed?

Thanks,
This one is not hard, because I built it as a prototype. But when I build these to sell in the future I will harden the locking mechanism and the spring holder in the back but will lower the hardness right much lower than the blade.
I have a little more work to profect it .

Take care,
Larry
