New Bailey arrived today

This special order arrived today from Mathew Bailey:thumbup: It's the second knife I own made by him and I hope to own more as the years go on. His contrast from forged flats to finished bevel combined with his killer hamons make for one incredible looking blade. Very happy with this one.


I have started to make knives of my own and so this is one of the last few custom orders I have coming in since most of my knife budget is now going towards supplies for my own shop, but this knife just makes me want to buy more Baileys!!!

Whoops, just looked at my post and noticed the flash killed the hamon. Trust me, it's a beaut!:thumbup:
 
Matt's knives are incredible. Keep that one nearby while you make yours. When they compare to that one, you'll know you got it right.
 
Awesome! I just got my first, yesterday! I want more!! What a gem of a knife he makes!

Can't wait to see your pics:thumbup: Matt really does make beautiful knives. He's one of those makers who produces some very different designs, but you can always tell with one glance that it's a Bailey. Very distinct lines.
