New Bali or First EDC folder...

Well... this is my predicament. I love Balisongs. I love knives period. I have 35$. I was going to save up for a bm42, But I have discovered the Spyderco Tenacious.

This will be my first EDC.

What do I do? I feel as though I should keep saving and quickly get the 42 before price changes or it goes out of production, But I have enough for the tenacious? Ever been in this situation? Bali? Tenacious? Niether? what???:confused:
 
Save up and get the BM42. you really will not regret the decision. The spydie is a great knife for the money but the BM 42 is an exceptional knife in all aspects :thumbup:
 
Hah Yeah so I've heard. I just want it for flipping. Despite the hype about titanium and about how strong it is, I prefer to keep it solely for flipping
 
It's only 35$,spend it and get the tenacious.Then start saving again.It shouldn't take you long to get back up to 35 dollars.
Then you'll have the Tenacious to hold you over until you get the 42. :thumbup:
 
If where you live allows you to carry a balisong then by all means save for the 42. :D

You can use it for EDC as well as flipping.
 
If Balis are legal where you live then you may as well save up for the one that you want. If not, I would rather buy the knife that I can carry every day than the one that I can just play with at home.

Also check out the Persistence (mini-Tenacious). I just got mine yesterday and it is an excellent knife (for me the Tenacious would be a bit too big for EDC).
