I'm surprised I haven't seen a thread about this yet, but maybe I just missed it. Kershaw is producing a new Balisong for Bradley cutlery!

It's called the Kimura and the price shold be down around $95!!

It looks pretty sweet - check it out!

We are, when did this happen?

Thomas, if I have been spreading misinformation, let me know!! That's not my intent. It has been going around on the other forums for a while that Kershaw is building this knife for Bradley.....

Seriously, if this is untrue, I'd love to know. I'm wondering where people get their info.

I just read the entire thread on the Bradley Kimura, and did not see mention anywhere that Kershaw/Kai had anything to do with it's manufacture. Perhaps you thought so because it happens to be made with 13C26 steel, which was Kershaw's most used steel, until they switched to 14C28.
If you saw it somewhere else in another thread, or website, would you be able to post the link?

I didn't think that cross-forum linking was allowed here - I originally saw it in the Balisong Forum over at the USN forums (Usual Suspects Network). A dealer say that he talked to the "Brad" from Bradley Cutlery, and that Kershaw is making them.

I have no intention of upsetting anybody, I just figured you guys would like to know about another hot new product manufactured by Kershaw. When Benchmade started manufacturing forthe Bradley knife lineup, it was no secret who was making the knives.

Go over to USN and read the thread. I would have posted a link in the first place if I didn't think that the Mods would ding me for it.

Forget linking. Talking about other forums, especially certain other forums, can be contentious, which is why we discourage it.

Whew, I was afraid I was buying a balisong now. Not good for a guy with 9 and a half fingers:D. Had me worried there for a minute

You could end up with, say, 8 and 2 half fingers, then your dexterity might improve. :)
I'd be looking forward to trying that, but my problem isn't at either end of the hand, just stiff all over.

You can tell it isnt a Kershaw just by the primary grind...not clean at all.
