This is an order I recently finished up, hope you like her...

This big Skinner/Caper has a 6" blade (2" at it's widest point) forged from 52100 ball-bearings and 1084 powder high carbon steels in a canister weld. The "trigger" guard, throat spacer and threaded pommel are also the same ball-bearing damascus. The handle is A-grade Sambar Stag with the pommel file-worked to match the stag. The front spacer is sandwiched by two fullered bone spacers as well. This knife is approx. 12" overall.

Holy cow! That's just great, two awesome steels and a wonderful pommel. I love the way you continued the original stag grooves into the pommel, I don't guess I've ever seen that.
Just an georgous knife overall.

that blade is pure sex!

not sold on the guard length, but the damascus, stag & bone are killer!

Outstanding, I like everything about that knife.

That one's intoxicating to look at. I keep scanning from the blade back to the handle again. Sweet.

on the one hand, i don't like the thought of my finger slipping onto that horror-of-a-blade. on the other, i think of things that might catch and snag between the blade choil and the guard.

wiping my head clear of those thoughts, it's a beautiful piece of work.

Where does everyone get these huge balls err ball bearings and from other threads, bearing races?

Wow! Beautiful skinner!!! The overall look is quite captivating.

Seems like caping around eyes/ears/nose might be tricky with that big blade.
