I had this on layaway and picked it up when I went down deer hunting.

Snowy River, Black and Orange CF handle.

beautiful knife man, looks like it'll be great for processing deer. :)

Congrats on the knife!

I've always thought that the Snowy River was underrated as a knife. It's extremely light, and when it's in your hand, it just wants to work.

I just have a plain Green Canvas Micarta handle, but your handle is cool!

Great score  that is probably one of my favorite models from them. They seem to be difficult to come by though.

Very nice looking knife, Jim.

If that came with a full, exposed tang and micarta scales, I'd be all over it.

Congrats!

One of my dream Barkies actually. Design-wise, nothing added, nothing taken away but just the right attributes.

I love those handles too! I've yet to score one of the super-sweet, colored CF handles Bark River makes. They are nicest looking ones, IMO- and seem to sell out before I ever see them at the dealers. I don't think I've ever seen that model- it looks kind of like a mini-sandstorm. Very cool!

Wondering when Mr. Stewart is bringing the snowy river and the classic lite hunter back into production. Their 12C27 rocks.

I think the River's Edge model is a lot closer and biggified version of the Snowy River.

Oh, and did I mention this is one of my dream Barkies? ;)
