. . . . for some strange reason, pictures of ironwood are dancing thru my head right now . . . . :D
I have to admit, being a life long gun guy and just since this great forum and these two knife makers took pity on me and answered about a gazillion questions I had about knives, it still amazes me what they can do with pieces of steel as in the first picture, and a few days later what it turns into.
Excellent "magic" from both of them . . . .
Be safe.

They are ugly out of the forge arent they Bill! These are all new designs. I decided to draw out some new stuff to see what worked and wanted to have some options. Ill tweak them a bit before I grind them, they are just roughed out and normalized here. I just finished cleaning up the grinds and applying the finish to the three that have been rough ground in the pic. Im waiting on belts so I will be working on those three until I receive them. The kephart is spoken for but the smaller knife and large bushcrafter will go up for sale. They are both convex ground. I redid my large bushcrafter, making the handle more comfortable. Im not sure what wood they will get yet but I have a ton to choose from. I made that smaller knife for whittling ir edc chores. I like that top right one too Matt. Its different for me and really feels good. Im sure you will handle it soon enough! The bottom knife is done. Im waiting on a sheath for it which is why I havent listed it already. Its more of a utility blade with killer figured walnut and od green liners. If anyone likes it it will come with a universal sheath for $125.00. Its a 3.5 thin blade, about an inch wide with a 4 3/4 handle.

Got wood on that large bushcrafter and smaller knife I had ground. Im going to go all out with the wood on these, went with awesome koa with double black liners on the big one and killer stabilized red mallee with double black liners on the small one. These are the blocks that I have been saving just to look at. I decided it was time to pass them on! I Think Im going to use a little wandoo burl, amboyna burl, curly mirindiba, york gum burl, and some other nice stuff on the rest.

I kept looking at the finished one last night on my phone and my little netbook and was liking it. Now that I'm home and looking at it on a bigger screen it looks killer!! The walnut on it looks great and the size would be wonderful as a general utility knife.

Thanks man! Its a good general purpose size that could be used for most tasks.

Did you say Red Mallee? As in "Red Mallee"? Pics please, please, please with sugar on top.

Here ya go wayne! Sorry for the crappy pics, i have to use my phone until my computer gets fixed. These just need sharpened and cleaned up.

And one of the two kepharts that are already spoken for. This one is with a very classy set of landscapefigure bolivian rosewood with double black liners
