Well, Batman Begins was a great movie, I thought. The Dark Knight was one of the best movies I've ever seen. One of the best chase scenes I've ever seen. It was great in the theater, and great at home. You had Scarecrow for a split second, the Joker (Nothing in his pockets but knives and lint :D) and Two Face for a split second.

They've already used three of Batman's deadliest villains, Heath Ledger passed on and I really hope they don't use another actor to bring the Joker back. Maybe someone like Javier Bardem would be able to pull off one of Batman's villains. Bane would be a great character, but they ruined him in Batman and Robin. At least Nolan said no to Robin being a part of the Batman movies. I would like to see who could pull off Catwoman, but think it would be a bad move for the movie. Anyway, who should be the new villain? I took a look at the list on Wikipedia, and the pickins are slim.

Also, why couldn't they use the title "The Dark Knight Returns"? One of the best comics I've ever read (the sequel wasn't that good).

The next 'Batman' movie will be called...
..."The Dark Knight Rises," according to the Los Angeles Times, in an interview with director Christopher Nolan.

Nolan and his brother Jonathan are hard at work on a script for what they see as the final chapter in a Batman trilogy, set for release in July 2012.

As one might expect, much of it is shrouded in secrecy, including what, if anything, will be done about the late Heath Ledger's Joker character (last seen - spoiler alert! - tied up and hanging upside down off the side of a building).

There's been a lot of speculation about which villain will be featured in the movie, but the Times was only able to get Nolan to rule out the Riddler (he had earlier ruled out Mr. Freeze), making Catwoman or the lesser-known Hugo Strange good possibilities. Batman's "rogues gallery" is practically endless, so Nolan could certainly come up with someone that nobody is talking about, as well.

I'll bet money that in some capacity catwoman is in the movie- not sure if as a hero, anti-hero, villain, love interest, or just backdrop, but I will seriously bet money on that.

King Tut of course.

Batman is awesome. The truly gay ones hopefully behind us (pun intended) I have high hopes. The last 2 were excellent IMHO.

The original Batman TV show? :barf:

the first Batman movie with Michael Keaton? Not bad for what it was. Another over the top Tim Burton movie.

Batman Returns, Batman Forever? :barf::barf::barf:

Batman and Robin? Never seen more than ten minutes of it, but what I saw, :barf::barf::barf:

Batman Begins? Best Batman movie ever, until Dark Knight came along :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:.

I'm hoping the new one tops the past two.
