New BCCI Discount

Got an email about it. Anyone else?

One shot deal for up to five items if I read it correctly.

Thoughts?
 
Dave, the email I received, arrived in my inbox 1 hour ago, at 10:25am pacific time.
Perhaps they are sending the emails in batches? Or one at a time.
The code is many characters long, so it might be personalized for each member?
Also, perhaps it is in your spam folder?

The email says 5 items in a one time use for the code.
It is clear on the % discount.

I am unclear as to:
1. Is it any 5 items..... ex. 5 knives etc....
2. When it expires, such as the end of the year?
3. If this is the yearly pro discount, or something to tide folks over until the prosite is ready?

Personally I liked using the discounts a little at a time, that was much easier for me to squeeze into an already tight budget.
Hopefully this code is good till the end of the year, so I could eventually squirrel away some dollars and use the code, after other commitments have been met.

I got two different emails that said "Here is your code" but there was no code included in the email.
 
Got my email at 1:12pm EST today. Code is good for 60% off. I guess instead of our old Pro Site account you just get a new code each year. It does say it is a "one time code" for up to five items so I presume you only get one shot to use it whether you buy one item or five. As before the discount does not apply to the custom shoppe and according to the email "Sale Items". In the past it was Web Specials. Maybe those are the only sale items.


Something I just noticed. The elk handle option for the cutlery set is no longer listed. I had planned at some point to use one of my discounts for a set of those but I guess that is no longer possible.

Now I am ready for the models that I need to become available like the brass/cocobolo 102 and 120 fixed blades. :thumbup:

Another question I have is should we register with the new site now, or await further instructions?
I remember the issues from before with using email addresses on the regular site vs prosite.....

I set up a new account but it seems to be just a standard account. Nothing about it indicates that I'm associated with the BCCI.
 
What did you order?

More for your 110 50th alter or something else?

Grandchildren in my neck of the woods need logo clothes and the 50th water bottles are almost irresistible.

Yep….been needing a few 50th Anniversary items that I didn't have.

I am also down to needing just two knives after Cvovilla's generosity. :)

Hey Mark, did you register, or just use the discount at checkout without registering?
I won't get to use the discount for a while, but my inquiring mind cannot resist asking :D
I am hoping to not encounter the registration/email issues that occured in the past, since I previously have made a special email for all Buck Knife related stuff.

No…I didn't register because that gets too confusing with Buck for some reason.
I did that one other time and learned my lesson.
I'll wait until I hear from either Buck or BCCI about when we can log in again and anything we may have to do to update the account.
I believe I had to get a new email address last time because the old one wouldn't let me in the system.

Thank you, that was exactly what I was wondering. :)
 
I got the email, but have no idea what knives qualify, so I tried to order a Paradigm with s30v blade, which was an option, but they kept changing my order to a sandvik blade, so I quite trying
 
I got two copies of the email, neither one had a code though. Any ideas who I would contact about it?

I'm on the site now and the only Paradigm it's showing is the 13C26 steel version. Must be the only one in stock at the moment.
