Man that becker sure looks like an izula, am I missing the punchline here.
 
I kinda thought so too, I mean if it was a camping mag that might be acceptable but in a KNIFE MAGAZINE C'mon.
 
Looks like theres going to be an opening on the Knives Illustrated staff. I could see getting the BK14 mixed up with an Izula but an 11?
 
Originally I thought "oh they mixed up the BK14 and BK11, that's a bit odd", but then I looked at the blade...oh my...
 
judging by how the esee/anti-narcotic junglas thread went, i'm just waiting for an alcoholic to think ka-bar eliminated the beer opener on the "bk-11" and will now proceed to destroy all the ka-bar in his collection in protest :D

That the error was in Knives Illustrated does not surprise me. That is one of the most poorly edited magazines out there. Spelling and grammar get very little attention there. The editor may know his knife stuff (I don't know him, so I can't say for sure), but he seems to need an associate editor with an English degree.
