Well after Mooses great marketing and the advice of several members. I took the leap and ordered a BK9 it will be my first large blade and Im pretty excited. Should get it on Weds then might try some one handed fire building.
 
Finally pulled the trigger on the BK9......Congrats

Post some pics and your thoughts when you get it
 
That bk9 is a beast. You should see tradewater's in depth review about it, makes me wanna chop something just thinking about it. Somebody post the link.
 
The King is in route, it would seem.

Won't find much under the sun that the big boi can't tackle, and trounce.

Congrats on the new blade, be sure and smell that dude when you get it, nothing like a new knife smell.

Hey, I like John and the do some good stuff there. Can you believe the guy made a company out of selling just Kabar Knives? Pretty hard to grasp that one.

Besides, I talked to John a while back, he says they got that whole smoke thing taken care of. We'll see.

Oh I haven't gotten one thing that smells like smoke. I was talking about whatever air Freshers he's got. Its smells good, and not one other place has THAT new knife smell. Its the smell of victory when you open a new Becker box.

Yeah, he told me he fixed it, and fixed it good. Now, you new BKT smells like Sandalwood, and petuli. :D

I got my BK9 from tomars just on friday night. I opened it up, and the wife walks in and asks what smells like smoke.

It hasn't been all the way fixed yet, thats all I'm saying. Though maybe I got something he'd had around for a while?

And congrats on the 9, I love mine :).
