Well with the birth of our son pending(he's two days late now) the wife let me get a new knife as long as it was reasonable. Found a necker for $29.xx and jumped on it. Wife called and said it arrived today. 3 1/2 hours of work and a 1/2 hour drive home till it's in my hands. Woohoo!

Allowing the domestic female to think she has done you a favor by granting permission for you to acqure new toys is preferable to lying which, if discovered, may result in the temporary suspension of access to other expected man-privileges.

Of course, this has a positive defense clause in paragraph 10-e.

Sometimes it is better to ask forgiveness than permission.

LOL! You don't know my wife. Actually she's pritty kool about things like that. She knows I don't want for much and doesn't mind when I buy things for my personal pleasure. Oh yeah... baby came on the 15th. Mikael came in at 6 lbs 14 oz, 20 inches long. He's great!
