Howdy BladeForums and well met Beckerheads! I just picked up a BK-2 last month and I LOVE THIS BLADE!

The black protective coating wears out QUICK! I can't wait to get some stripper for the blade. I've convexed the the shoulder near the edge a bit and just a couple of strips of grip tape until I figure out a better grip solution.

Got my sights set on an 11!

Love this blade! Waiting on proper edge maintenance equipment in the mail, until then it's beefy feather-sticks!

Cool what kind of things have you been doing with it?

Thanks and thanks!

A LOT of wood processing. I'm getting used to the size as I've never owned anything as heavy duty as the BK-2. Pretty much just testing the limits potential of what sizes of wood it can take care of. As well as learning to wield such a heavy thing to do fine carving tasks.

Nice BK-2! Welcome to the forums.

Good job on the fire challenge. Never seen a BK-2 used to collect fire wood like you did.

The BK-11 would compliment the BK-2 very well.

I'm always happy to find such a dedicated following in an online forum. I'm especially excited to have you chime in from time to time Ethan. It's a privilege to work with such a marvelous tool that is so accessable to the common man. Thank you Ethan Becker and kaBar for getting these blades out there. She is a beast, and man's best friend!
