Friday turned out to be an excellent day, since a package arrived in the mail with three new Becker knives. Many thanks to Moose for his generous award for the January challenge! After greedily opening the package using my Eskabar that I was carrying that day, I snapped a few pics:
And here's a pic with the two Beckers I already had, including the BK-7 I used during the challenge:
I had some help from Forrest, the amazing Cattle Dog mix:
My wife, who is addicted to cleaning, immediately seized upon the Remora as a handy tool for trimming the edges of the carpet! Eventually, I was able to get it back....
The BK-4 is an impressive blade, and I can't wait to take it camping:
Will the BK-11 baton? Of course it will:
Again, many thanks to Moose for the prizes; I've been EDC-ing the 11 since it came, and am impressed with the stoutness of the Remora for such a small blade; it looks like a great back-up knife for backpacking trips, etc. The Machax is, of course, a beast, and I love it's weight-forward design.
