New Belt Clip Back for RC-6

The new belt clip back for the molded RC-6 sheath came in today. I got it from Two Wolves Outdoor gear. I understand that the newer RC-6s will be shipping with these. It screwed right on with no problems.

This allows the sheath to carry lower than with the MOLLE clips or paracord loops, making drawing the knife easier and keeping the handle out of my ribs.
It rides just a bit higher than with my Spec-Ops sheath, and with less bulk.

It even clips neatly to my Maxpedition S-type Jumbo Versipak for an easy cross draw. The bottom of the sheath being secured with the paracord to a loop on the bottom of the pack. From the looks my belly in this pic, I need to start walking more and quit messing with my gear.

Yea i definatly like the belt clip , i just picked it up with an rc5 kydex... the eagle nylons are nice , but kydex for me is cleaner and lighter... im keeping the eagle on my pack sence its got molle , and going to use this if i ever need to just slip it on for a walk around my local wilderness

That is the RC5 in the pic, the RC6 got a rounder pommel.

I also got the back clip plate and sheath today, it's easier to unsheath the knife than I thought, doesn't get in the way at all. :thumbup:
 
its an rc5 in my pic ... but its using the same clip from teh looks of it ... i dont have an rc6 yet...

i like the new kydex for the rc5 a lot ... the old sheath rocks out ... but its better with my nylon gear which i rarely put on.... shes heavy as is ... lol
 
that sheath looks great and very easy to use. i like the old eagle molly aswell tho, but i can imagine the kydex belt clip being easier to clip on to a belt or something
