New Benchmade Vector 496 and Proper

I added the Benchmade Vector 496 and the Benchmade Proper 318-1 to the collection yesterday. Pretty excited about the 496. Very unique blade design on the 496 with the compound grind on the blade.
 
I really dig the design aesthetic of the Vector. Even with that recurve.
The thing that holds me back from getting one is that it most likely flips like crap after it's de-assisted. And to me, being able to flick it closed is half the fun of having an Axis lock knife.

If you do ever de-assist it, let me know what you think.

yes not being able to flick it shut, takes some of the fun out of it.
 
The best thing about this knife is that you barely notice it in your pocket. Just because of the curve of the knife it rests very comfortably.
