Just wanted to say thanks to this great forum! I went up a notch on my member ship today, due mostly to the fact that this traditional folder section is so damn awesome. I've learned more in a month than any magazine subscription could provide in a year. I only have a couple traditionals at the moment, but hopefully I can aquire a few in the coming days/weeks/months. I hope to contribute to the forum. -Brad

Welcome coolio. I've seen you around here lately. Glad to have you with us!

Nice!

And since you're in the Madison area, are you familiar with the Badger Knife Club show at the end of March?

Great little show with a strong traditional knife showing. There will be lots of vintage knives and some great customs - Ken Erickson and Ken Coats will be there among a few others possibly and at least a couple dealers who have a variety of custom traditionals usually, too. Could be a good place to add to your collection possibly.

Welcome aboard and good to see someone supporting the forum. I know I've learned more here than I ever knew there was to learn - and that's not 10% of what there is to know about traditional knives! It's also a family environment here in this sub-forum, which I really appreciate.

Welcome to the group and as you say there is so much to learn with some good advice and suggestions to help us that are new to the in's and out's of knives.

Welcome, Brad, and thanks for going gold!!:thumbup: It took me 6 months to realize that's the way to go.:o
I certainly agree that you can learn a TON in the traditional subforum, due to the knowledgeable and kind people that reside here!

Welcome to the forum Brad! I myself was here for just a short while before upgrading to gold, there's a lot to learn here from a lot of great people.
