finaly got anouther one almoust finished, been down with the flu and to busy working and such to spend much time in the shop, been agrivating. Still need to go over this one more time after I finish the sheath. One more to do in a skinner pattern with the same basic handle for the same customer.

Forged 52100, triple edge quenched, triple tempered and because of the thin point I drew the point back a little more with a torch to increase flexibility. Nickle silver gaurd and pommel, desert iron wood spacer with elk antler handle.

Sweet little knife Will, should make for a good every day carry.
What the OAL and blade length?

Bill

Looks good Will..... You need to drop the day job and spend more time in the shop. Just tell your wife that Bill says thats what you need to do.....

Thanks, wish I could drop the day job, have to head out to the rig tonight though.

Bill the blades 4 1/2" overall, with 3/4" of that smooth ricasso. The handle is 4 1/4" from front of gaurd to end of pommel. The blade is 3/16 at the gaurd and tappers from there to the point.

I've never worked iron wood before, but will definatly have to use more in the future, it's some dense stuff!
