I recieved my dankung American Fox slingshot and tubing a couple of days ago and having been playing with it nonstop, to say I am impressed would be a huge understatement. It is made from one piece of stainless steel and the fit and finish is outstanding. The paracord shot pouch was made by an acquaintance on another forum and the workmanship is awesome. He says if I have to unravel it in a survival situation he will replace it for free if I tell him the story, LOL. The bands you see are made by myself out of 17/45 tubing I ordered with the slingshot. The way they are tied is in a 2 to 1 configuration I learned about in another forum. It shoots amazing, there is no comparing it to typical box store tube bands, the pull as maybe half and they shoot harder as well, I am having no problem piercing one side of a steel bean can at 10 to 15 yards. I know that is not very scientific but I can't get my chrono to register the steel balls, too shiney maybe. The yellow daisy bands on my marksman just dent it. I have always enjoyed slingshots and this one is well worth what I paid for it. Now the good stuff, here's a pic.

Cool slingshot! What's the science behind the "2 to 1 configuration" and on what forum did you learn about it?

Not sure about the science but I have learned that it is not mainly the pull strength of the bands but the speed that they retract and through my own experiments these are much faster than any others I have tried. I have not tried flat bands yet but that is next. The forum is http://slingshotforum.com/ lots of really good info there. Chris

those Dankung's are cool slingshots.. i have one, don't remember the model?? you should also check out Perry's work over at A+ slingshots.. i have quite a few slingshots and i think his are by far my favorite's..

Yeah Mike I have been shooting my old pocket rocket and marksman with storebought tube bands and really had no idea there was anything else availble, boy was I ever behind the times. There are guys really tweaking the design and getting every ounce of performance they can, not too mention building works of art, Parry at a A+ and Nathan at Flippinout, to name just a couple, are building functional works of art. And watching Bill Hays light matchs and cut playing cards, simply amazing. Chris

Very Cool Slingshot! That looks like a really comfortable rig. Shoulda known there'd be a slingshot forum. I play with mine as much as I can.

Wow. Another thing to get back into. We used to carve slingshots as kids and somewhere around here I have a wrist rocket and some steel shots for it. I'm going to check this one out. Thanks for sharing! I want a pouch too!!
