New BK-2!!! My second Becker!!

Okay, here's my story. I traded a Gerber Prodigy and 2 old Buck folders for a worn out BK-2. I took the handle scales off of it and the top and middle holes were bigger than the bottom one and the scales didn't fit on properly.Stupid me forgot to take pics. I thought it was a defective knife and sent it back to Ka-Bar. They sent me a brand new one and it arrived yesterday. I just had to go out and baton one piece of wood with it, and again stupid me forgot to take pics. So, here are some pics to revive stupid me. I added a paracord lanyard with red white and blue. 'Cause I'm Nationalist, and 'cause I can.

nice and congrats! I'm looking at getting a BK2 myself here in the not so far away future!


If I may pry what was your first becker?

Now that we have proof that you actually own a BK2... we need user photos :D.

Interestingly enough, I'd looked into the gerber prodigy when I was first looking at the BK2 myself. It seemed nice, but the bulletproof-ness of the BK2 is what sold me on it. Now that I have it, I can't complain :). I'll be getting my second Becker pretty soon now, and I"m pretty excited about it as well. When I get it, I'll be able to do my first comparison review (I love doing reviews, just because when I'm out trying to buy things, thats the first thing I look for) :).

Also... your BK2 is upside down :eek:.
 
Good testimony to Becker's service.

I am pretty much in the same camp as you...Have been lugging the BK14 around, and just received a new BK2 in the mail this week.

Could the BK14 possibly be considered a "gateway" knife...which could lead one on to the path of other larger and more dangerous Beckers ?...hmmm
 
I guess so, we should tell Moose and maybe the 14 will be called the Becker BK14 gateway. That would be SWEET.

I find this amusing :D

Congrats on your new knife. BK2 was my second Becker also. BK9 is probably next, although with my current fixed knife purchases, I don't really feel the need for one.
