New BK-2 with sheath mod

Just thought I would share a few pictures of my new BK-2 (gen 2) and the sheath mods I made.

While I like the kydex sheath itself (great retention), the nylon belt loop apparatus attached to the sheath was not working for me.

I made the sheath so that it sat up higher on my belt line and could accept both small and large diameter belts. I also designed a simple latching system to act in place of the snap system that came with the nylon belt loop (works perfect for when I want the knife to be a tad more secure).

(the belt is angled to show that it can accept a larger belt)

Welcome to the Becker forums and Bladeforums. Glad you're here.

Sounds like a good project, can't wait to see it. If you need help loading pics, just holler at me. There are also some good tutorials in the FAQ to help out as well.

Glad you made us your first post, we are honored.

Is there any way to get the pictures actually in the thread, as opposed to a link?

When you go to PhotoBusket, on the right, next to the pic, is an IMG CODE. Click that once, and it will say copied, then just paste them into the post where you want the pic to appear. Remember, you can go back and edit, so don't keep putting new posts up for pics, just edit your first post.

Your welcome, that's why my name is red. To help out, be cool, and make everyone more forum rounded.

HONOR THE MODS!!!!!
You must post pics of that knife with the paint scuffed. Pretty blades are good for first posts, but your second, better hand some dirt on them.:D

I just got it in yesterday and wanted to work on the sheath before i took it out.

If she wears like the rest of my coated knives it will not be on there long i can assure you that.

Nice work, nice pics, and welcome to Bladeforums.
