Camillus has redesigned the BK4! Have to say...not as impressive as the original design...:D

Hmmm ... there's a trademark label on the "BK-4" in the packaging.

Interesting legal twists. So Kabar didn't get exclusive rights when they took over the BK line?

Well at least it's a knife.. of sorts.

"Introducing the new BK4 Automated Toilet Lid! Coming soon: BK5 Soap Dispenser".

That's why it's being discontinued. Camillus has a BK5 & 15 coming out too...

BK = Boot Knife. I guess it makes sense. Will the BK-5 and BK-15 going to be Boot Knives too? Oh well, BK- will always mean Becker to me. This will make googling a little less convenient for us Becker fans.

I hadn't even noticed the trademark! I was walking through Wally World, and it caught my eye...I found it funny that "Camillus" had another BK-4.

What exactly is "Carbonitride Titanium Stainless Steel"? I am honestly curious.

edit: never mind "Carbonitride Titanium" is the coating, and the metal is some sort of stainless steel.

Personally, I never got into finger holes in blades. Looks very awkward to use. The best thing about that is the bottle opener. And is that thing double edged? Yes, Google just confirmed that. That's just idiocy in action. A double edged bottle opener. What are people going to be opening with that?
a) beer
b) palms
c) all of the above.

Finger holes in knives are broken fingers waiting to happen. And this knife is useless in the state of Texas - double edge makes it a dagger, and finger holes make it "knuckles", so it couldn't legally be carried off your own property and even a Pakistani W49 wanna-bee Bowie knife would be more useful on your own property, regardless of where the property was.

there's a piece of shite of i ever saw one

Use of Camillius not really a trademark issue, as Ka-bar didn't buy that. (Still a piece of crap pointless knife though 😝)

I would buy that, I can see it's uses,
But it does look like something someone from the lollypop guild would try to mug you with...

Omg!!! I just realized the bottle opener! Are they serious? Thy must be planning on getting into the medical supplies market next. A bottle opener with a double edged handle. Awesome!

Well, I assume that they expect a modicum of intelligence on behalf of the buyer to keep it sheathed during beer time,

Beer n blades in the same place at the same time is more likely to cause harm,

Saw this the other day when I needed to pick up an emergency Victorinox from Wally World after I forgot to pack a blade in my checked bag.

Can't fathom purchasing this thing (especially after they named this miniature piece of junk after a beloved Becker). Makes little to no sense.

I was going to make a joke about "cut backs"

But you can't see a use in anyway for that blade?
I would buy one, cuz I can think of a use...

But agreed it does seem odd to use the BK 4 name considering their history, it's not like they don't know,
either due to some one being the stoopid or someone thinking it's an exploitable legal loophole,
Sticking the BK moniker does give it deceptive form of cred,
