Still haven't made it out , but I have been slicing up stuff in the kitchen . It is a better slicing knife than other big knives I have had

This is one of my main reasons for stripping coatings. It's much harder to clean a scratched-up coated knife than a stripper (insert Stripper Joke here).

A stripped blade only needs a quick wipe down, before and after, when used for meal prep/eating
