Thank you! I’ve enjoyed browsing here and reading about your Becker’s. I’m sure it’s not my last Becker after seeing what he’s got to offer. Like I said, that BK16 is on my brain. I’ve got a couple other Ka-Bars, various Bucks and a Spyderco. Not a blade connoisseur by any means but I know what I like and Ka-Bars, Bucks and now Becker’s seem to be high on my list. I love my one Spyderco. It’s a nice knife and really well made but for some reason I don’t browse their website and think “I want that one, and that one, and that one...” and I am in no way shape or form putting down Spyderco!Congrats on the new steel man. Believe me, it's the start of an addiction.
Also, welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.![]()
The new BK10 arrived today. What an awesome knife. And that’s my assessment with just holding it. I haven’t used it for anything yet other than for catching my drool. I’m already thinking of the BK16. My wife is gonna kill me.
Here’s a few photos. Nothing you haven’t seen before for a stock 10 but at least this one is mine.Might I recommend seeing if your wife wants one too? The tweeners, like the 16, would make a nice blade for someone with smaller hands, so get 2 (assuming your wife has traditionally smaller hands like most ladies). The bk14 is also a nice one for smaller hands.
We like pics![]()
Ordered the BK16 last night. Should have it tomorrow. I need to stop now. That’s 4 knives in a month! My wife is definitely going to kill me. Tell the world my story.Excellent choice cupton; great to have ya in the Becker family! You'll love the Bk-16 when you get one, it's a "perfect for most every job" knife that will endear itself to you with every use. And, I gotta join Dubz in recommending the BK-9; it's my favorite of all the Beckers, I have four of them alone at last count. "Long Live The KING!"

While excellent suggestions, she’s not much for the outdoors. She’s got her own set of kitchen knives we paid an arm and leg for and any cooking outside the kitchen is on me. It’s my BK16 and not hers. I’ll own up to it if. If she finds out! You're supposed to order all 4 at once to make sure you get the free shipping. It also means only one shipping box that arrives so it doesn't appear like there's a steady stream of knife boxes coming in.
Or, the Bk16 could be the wife's. Would make her a fine hiking/camping/kitchen/keep the husband in check kind of knife. Just saying, it's a nice most-purpose designed knife.

Wonder if I could carry 7 BK9’s? That would be interesting to see. Maybe I’ll just buy one and start there. For Christmas though. That’ll be my next Becker. Already on the Amazon list.Taking the "hide the hobby" routine. I can understand that. Here's another secret then. If you buy multiples of the same knife, it's as if you only have one of them as long as she doesn't see you carrying seven of them at one time. You just move it around a lot.
You're welcome
