new BK14 scales

a couple weeks back, I had some time alone in the house, so I decided to mix 2 of my favorite hobbies -- woodwork and knives.
Here are a couple pics of my Eskabar with mystery burl scales cutting ham for my after dinner snack today.
yes, they're rough - I need better barrel screws, but they make a good pattern.
anyone else have homemade scales on a Becker they want to show off?

Nope, I suck at wood work, but I excel in metal. I just used para and done a good wrap on mine. I like it that way, its slimmer and easier for me to EDC.
