New BK16 and sheath

Just received these pics from http://pantherconcealment.com of my new BK16 with the sheath they just finished for it. I should have it in hand in a couple of days. Really looking forward to it.

Looks sharp! Seems like it will fit nicely in either the front right pocket or iwb anywhere. It actually looks similar to a leather pistol holster I made years ago.

A bit big for pocket carrry, Blade length 4.375"; Overall length 9.25"
 
Guess I have deep pockets...
I frequently carry my 16 with just the tip of the handle and the lanyard hanging out. Not bad in my work cargo pants...
Jeans...prob not so much

Like NC said, in cargo shorts not a problem. Hell, the 7 can fit in some. Jean are a different story but not out of the question. With your new rig, the 16 blade will fit nicely in the front right.

Very cool.

I've pocket carried my 16 on occasion. Usually in circumstances where it's just for a minute or two. But all day pocket carry? I'm not into it.

Not into pocket carry myself, much prefer it on my belt, I don't ever pocket carry a handgun either, don't see the sense in it, plus I almost always carry a full size anyway. I still have one small handgun in the safe but it hasn't been out in years.
 
I don't pocket carry much in the way of guns or sheath knives these days. I used to carry my BK24 in my pocket everyday but I can't do that these days. So, I'm a folder guy preferring a clip, however, I do carry some sort of traditional folding knife in the pocket.
As far as handguns, I think if I had a little 22 pistol I might consider pocket carry. But like you I carry full size or compact.

Anyway, it's really here nor there considering carry methods. Everyone is different.

Enjoy that sheath. Looks good and study and will probably last a very long time. I have a 710 pancake cross draw that I love for my 16. Check it.

 
That 710 looks good. I agree pocket carry is not for everyone, and not for situation. Today I have a 15 riding in my front right. For me either cross draw or pocket will demand an untucked shirt.
 
Nice knives everyone i just placed my order for a bk16. Got my first becker a bk2 last week maybe two weeks ago i am addicted.
 
I showed the 15 to a few coworkers yesterday. The women gave me that look. The guys gave plenty of compliments. The 15 makes a hell of a kitchen/camp knife.

Got the 16 today in the front right. Its my favorite tweener.
 
Just received the BK16 and new sheath today. If anyone wants that silly thing they call a sheath that came with it let me know, it's yours for the price of the postage.
