New BK16. Does this look normal?

New BK16, and new to Becker in general. I just got this, but it looks like the wrong hardware was used to secure the scales. The nuts appear to small for the mold, and are very close to spinning. Or is this normal? I don't expect perfect on a $70 knife, but this looks like it may be a pain in the butt in the making. If it's not right, what would be the easiest way to make it right. Thanks!

Perfectly fine. I've got several like that. Size should be 8-32 nuts if you change the hardware though.

Scales don't need to be torqued down very hard so it shouldn't be a problem. If the nuts do start spinning that would be a good excuse to upgrade to micarta scales.

Ok, thanks. I'm actually looking for some custom wood scales to replace the factory ones.

Why would they use different colored hardware?
And I would not want my bolts spinning either.
This is normal?

I'd replace with stainless anyways, so no big deal. If you keep them it won't really matter anyways.
