New Bk16. Have a few questions.

So I ordered a Bk16 from dale over at the knife connection and it arrived today. I had done alot of reading and research before I made my order. From what I understood, all the new BK16's were a FFG and no longer a sabre
grind. Well my new bk16 is definitely a sabre grind.

So my question is. Did they start making this in both grinds? Is this one a new old stock? I've never owned a sabre grind knife. Is this better for this style if knife?

It seems there are a few of the sabers that slipped through the cracks. Congrats though, I love the saber grind.

Even the pooch was surprised. Haha.

I'm kind if excited. I've never owned a sabre grind knife before. I'm anxious to see how it performs.
 
I'm not to sure you have an actual saber grind.
You should send it to me for inspection.

Nice find. Go buy a power ball ticket.

You won't be disappointed. Of course, you'll have to have the 9 to complete the ensemble. ;)
 
Hahaha you guys are killing me!!! I already have a bk24. The 9 would be the next one to get. I must stay strong and resist until I can give the new 16 and 2 a proper beat down next weekend. Plus having more cab helps. Hahaha

Hahaha. Man I'm pissing myself laughing. I need to sign off and go to bed before I order two more beckers. Hahaha. I haven't owned a Becker in 10 yrs and I just popped my cherry with 3 in two weeks. Haha

Yes, camping with the family. Next weekend.
 
Still so amazed at the craftsmanship of this 16. And the perfect ergos. It feels great in the hand. I can't wait to put it to some use. And now I'm impatiently awaiting the arrival of my 2. I think I'mode excited about the 2 than I was about the 16!!! I can't believe I went 10 yrs without a Becker. Gave my last one to a buddy way back.

Thank you for making such great knives. I didn't realize how much I missed owning one of these until I held the 16 last night. I just wish I would have been building my collection back then!
