New BK2 on the way!

I have a bk2 already but its a 1st gen signed by Ethan so i refused to use it. but everyday since i got it i have held and fondled it. i just loved the way it feels in my hand. i love the thickness of the blade and the factory handle shape and feel. So when my wife got home from work today and seen me holding my special bk2 in awe she told me to put that thing away. I told her no, im good lmao. Then she tells me i need to stay home and hang out at the house 2moro and ill have one i can do more than just hold and look at.

She had seen how much i liked the bk2 and ordered me one without even telling me. she said she was going to get it for xmas but she knew i would order one for myself before then so she beat me to it.

Im a happy camper!

In plenty of time too, i just got word yesterday of another survival trip in mid november with a group im part of, the last one was great mostly based on wild edibles, traps, and fire this one will be more plant foraging and we will distill oils from trees and use them for medicine, fuel, glue, torches, and water-proofing and some emphasized fire -based skill demonstrations, like making burn bowls and utensils. I will do my best to put this bk2 through hell then!

I understand how you feel about the BK2. It is just a beast, but is so cuddly in the hand that you just have to touch it every day. I love mine and have been thinking of getting another just because..... well....just because..

Thanks man, fedex says by noon 2moro, less than 13 hours to go but it feels like so long! lol
 
Dang, I won't ever be caught without a 2 to use, but Lord, I ain't so bad I wanna bed down with mine lol! You guys are dedicated! I envy you........i think :D
 
Come on, be real... you know if you had a bk2 personally signed by becker you would sleep with it lmao.


For real though i sleep with my bk11. it only comes off my neck in the shower, or when the law demands it.
 
Lol, id probaby fondle it a lot! I'm dying to get either an 11 or 14, even trying to trade some nice blades for one, but I won't be sleeping with it lol. That honor is reserved for my Glock 19 ;) !
 
damn no delivery. fedex tracking says they attempted delivery but i wasnt available, what liars i have been sitting here impatiently waiting by my door. Now it says re-delivery monday. uhhh, im toooooo impatient for that. and i was suppose to be going with the family this evening to have a big bonfire (pending hurricane sandy of course) and planned to break it in some tonight. arrrghgh.

I called them, the driver might be able to come today but he might not be in the area, what horse manure. if he doesnt im gunna try and pick it up, but it wont be available for pick-up until 4-430 and they close at 5. there pushing my buttons.

WOOOSAH! patience is a virtue, that im apparently lacking
 
I have had similar issues with fedex but was able to pick up the package at the Hub where they sort the pacakges. I guess the truck returns at the end of the day and unload what wasnt delivered.

Will do! came with a decent edge on it, cut loose paper without tearing but wasnt quite sharp enough for shaving arm hair. 15 minutes on the strop and it slides thru my arm hair like nobodys buisness. my arms are about bald now im gunna have to start testing on my legs lol.
