So I decided it was time to strip and dye my BK2.

Stripped

Dyed Micarta

Its not easy but its not that hard if you have the right stuff.

You did somethin to those grips. Do tell. The knife looks outstanding man. I want one of those so bad. It's gonna have to wait, birthday in march and it's on the list I gave my wife. Might have to get some K bar micarta ahead of time though.

Looks great, i stripped mine a while back, and forced patina. Want to add wood grips. Just finished the convexed edge a few minutes ago, wow sharp, but WOW took forever by hand...

I love the look of the died black scales. I honestly thought you made some kick a$$ looking black walnut scales for that thing, and you contoured 'em out to fit perfectly and everything.

Yeah I plan on polishing it, I actually changed my mind and took the dye off....

I've actally tryed to get the dye off with my hands and sweat, nothing takes if off except sandpaper, and even hard to do with that.
