Just received my new BK24 in the mail today!!! I honestly don't know why I waited so long to pick one up!!! I have always been a huge fan of ESEE knives, so I have a few izula that I love and carry everyday. I have always had the eskabar in the back of my mind. Combo of two awesome knives and in 1095!! What could be better right...... Well the BK24 is better!! Way better!! I am so impressed by the fit and finish of this knife. Came razor/shaving sharp and just looks simply beautiful. I cannot wait to get out and give it a proper beat down. I really like the d2 steel, I mean 1095 is ideal for sharpening in the field, but I have found that my d2 knives hold the edge a lot longer before needing attention.

Well enough talk here's a pic I took shortly after I wrapped the handle in para cord a few hours ago.

I will post more pics and feedback after I have properly run it through some camping and household chores.

Almost forgot, I am planning in EDC'ing this knife as I have been my izula.

Nice choice, the 24 is my favorite small blade. That d2 holds a razor edge for quite a while too.

It is a KA-BAR after all, and a damn fine one at that.
