New BK3 sheaths!

So it appears the new style BK3 sheaths are out. Any idea if we can get them from Kabar directly or if Tomars will carry them? They appear to be just like the BK2 sheath as far as setup goes.

Moose, can you get us some good high quality pics of the newer sheaths? Only place I have seen them thus far is on a video review on the river/jungle website.

Are there 2 versions of the BK3 from KaBar? Mine looks like it is grinded opposite from one on the website.

The new sheath looks like it is for the grind that matches mine.

Are there 2 different grinds, and if so will the new sheath fit both?

Yeah, there are the older ones and the newer ones. Newer ones have the tang extension, older ones do not.

Is tang extension the same as a pommel?

My knife is a mirror image to the one on KaBar's website.

Yeah, pommel extension, whatever. The skull buster thing on the end of the handle. Mine is one of the older ones, got it almost two years ago.

Mine was used when I got it, so I don't know how old it is.

they need to make sheaths like that for all the beckers, at least as an option.
