New BK7 & handles for BK7 & BK2 on the way (now with BK2 photos in thread)

So, I ordered a BK7 to go with my BK2 (BK9 likely next) and also ordered blue/black G10 handles (thanks to SpikeHawk for that lead) for both. I think those handles look great. Then I'll take the original handles and stipple at least one of them.

I'll post pics in this thread when they get here (see post #3). :)

Damn! Sounds like you're jumping in with both feet. Congrats on the 7 yer probably gonna love it. I just gave one of mine to my brother. It was a great user that I'd picked up from another Beckerhead. It already had the sharpest convexed edge I've ever seen when I got it.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine. And double bonus points for pulling the trigger on the G10. I've never had a set but if they're as comfy as micarta & look better they'll be keepers for sure.

Here are the before and after pics of the BK2 (BK7 not here yet) with the G10 handles. Only took a couple of minutes to change them out. Texture feels great and I think it looks good as well.

Those look awesome! Hows the texture? I'm still trying to figure out what grit belt I'm gonna use to give mine a good finish texture

Texture is good. Not rough enough to be tough on the hands, but rough enough to give a good grip. I like the feel of them quite a bit.

Yep. They sure are. Fast delivery, too. Ordered Friday evening, they got the order Saturday morning, I got the scales this morning.
