Hey forum junkies,
A particular online shop had BK9 for 63.90 this past week so I snapped one up. I should have bought 4 at that price. As soon as I got it I used it to grill some pork, make mashed potatos and do other kitchen stuff to see how it handled. It is very comfortable and a little small in my hands so I wrapped some self grip sport tape to beef it up a little. I also recieved a Hill people gear kit bag today and decided to find ways to wear it all together.
I inverted the knife and attached it to the left hand should strap under the kitbag. I used a small velcro cord organizer band to attach it at the top. I can bend and move pretty easy but it may chafe over the long term. I will take it on a hike to see if its an option. If I pair it with my 1st gen camelback hawg I have a fantastic day trip to the woods rig and it balances very well with the hawg with the lifter straps.
Absolutely fantastic knife and great bag!
Cheers
