All right. I saw a picture of a knife on Knifecenter that got me very interested, so I have a few questions.
First, what kind of steel is it? RC? How thick is the blade material? Is the sheath the same kind as the CU7?
What are the handles made of? They look like rubber in the picture, but they have rivets.
Has anyone used these? I would be curious to see a review. It looks like a great knife for combat/field use. Thanks in advance.

Hi SpartanMan

The CUDA Black-Ops CQB has a blade of .188" thick 0170-6C Carbon Steel (same as in the Becker line) at Rc59 with black epoxy coating. Handle is the same construction as in the regular models except with black Micarta. The sheath is the standard Kydex one with the Tech-lok I think.

The model is also available in the jr version. Prices for both sizes are somewhat lower than for the original version.

I have not handled the black version but I've got one of regular ones and it handles very well. Materials, fit and finish are first rate. I would have been happy to carry it to the field when I was in green a long time ago.

Regards Jan

Actually, I am pretty sure these models have the Kydex reinforced cordura sheaths like the BK&T C/U 7. I do not have one but played with the protos at the SHOT show . . . they are really sweet!

I just received this knife from Knifecenter. It has a very good feel to it. I think I'll get a Kydex sheath made for it.

I'm curious about one thing. Does Knifecenter inspect knives before they ship them? My box came with the factory sticker cut.
