She just arrived this a.m. She was born may of '14, and came dead centered, great flipping action and zero side/side up/down play. I like this knife a lot! I have/had two Brown Southards. My older brown Southard ('13 model) I gifted to a relative. My other new Brown Southard (May'14) I still have, and will keep to compliment my new Black Southard. Theres not really much else to say other than initial impressions are highly favorable! :)
So, without any further ado, I'll get on with the Southard porn.....

impressed at how crisp that all-black southard looks. thanks for sharing the pics. never noticed until now but I like how the lettering on the blade is kept fairly small and limited to the upper portion.

Thank you. - Its really one helluva knife. Very smooth, very snappy flipping action. So glad I got it.
For anyone interested, I got at NK, on sale for $209
Lol, its hard to decide which I like better, the Black or Stainless. They were both born May '14. Have very similar flipping action. The Stainless, is pretty hot with that Blue Twill CF scale from Eric.

I've had a couple of browns; sold those and I have a NIB black which is real doll.

I like Brad Southard so much that I picked up his AVO model. It is also a great folder.
