as usual for Dr Lathe's stuff!

AC_Doctor, what is the name of the ninja model on the top of the group photo? do you have specs? is is a good cutter (ok, ok - pls give more details if you've put it through its paces)? could you email me pricing/shipping/waiting period details if you can't post them here....I would really love to get one of those ninjas or Neil's folders....I never seem to be on his waiting list.

thanks,
Spyken

The top knive is the Blackwood Heavy Duty Neck Ninja. The blade is S30v hand-rubbed (not Neils favortie steel to finish) w/ heavy duty 5/32" blade which is sharp, sharp, sharp... Brown Micarta handles. This is the very first HD Neck Ninja Neil made is S30v....
The balance and feel are wonderful !!! Here is a link to Neils website. I think his wait is getting growing, daily.... :(
Look under Neck Ninjas, and find the HD model.

Phil,

Thanks for posting the pics of the Wharncliff Grifter.....Kinda rolls off the toungue:p

Jeff,

That's quite a collection you have going there. I really thought the blue handled Medium Hybrid with the black pins was VERY cool when I made it :D Yes, that other knife is a Neck Ninja HD!!

I'll post some detailed pics when it arrives :)

notdos,

That is an awesome blade. That first pic, especially, really brings out the grinds and the overall wicked profile of the piece.

It's beautiful.

I like it, but then again, I like pretty well every knife I have seen of Neil's. A wharncliffe works really well in a blade that size and the handle looks like it would have a very secure grip.
