Hey, I just got this in a trade. Its a Jim Wharton EDC, orange g10 scales, 154cm steel. Its actually heavier than it looks, but I like it. The orange kydex sheath rubs off on the bead blasted blade, and I am thinking of getting a leather sheath made for it. I think a brown leather sheath with a dayglow orange handle sticking out would look pretty good. The edge was kind of crappy when I recieved it, so I put a convex on her, and ridiculously sharp it is again! Anyways, just wanted to share :)

Very nice lines...looks like it locks in hand well. Thanks for sharing!

Thans for the pic! It looks great....good size and I'm a sucker for orange. Plus easy to spot if I set it down!

sweet knife... I think you're right about the leather pants for it though I like black better than brown unless it's a wallet :D

Do you have contact info for him?
Great looking blade.

Yeah, I couldn't find a website, but his name on here is 'Stag & Steel', I believe his knife making is a hobby, not a full time job, but his info says he makes about 50 knives a year. Here is the link to his member info to send him an email: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/member.php?u=150413

I am trying to decide what to do about a sheath. The orange kydex rubs off on the bead blasted blade, which makes it look like I just got done cutting an orange every time I take it out of the sheath.

I think I am going to make some black kydex for inverted carry on my backpack strap for hiking, and a leather sheath for belt carry. I was thinking about black leather, but I dont want people to call it the 'Halloween Knife' being orange and black, i know its gonna happen! I think a rich brown/deep red leather would look nice with an orange handle sticking out would look nice. Now the only thing to figure out is if I should just make a pouch style for it, or a standard sheath with a handle strap with a snap....

Just for you!

Sorry about my dirty hands, im a mechanic/fabricator by trade, and thats about as clean as they get :)

very nice, I love a good drop point. Looks like a comfy user.

as a butcher who did first aid I saw a lot of customized fingertips you are sporting BTW. Was it a pinch/crush or clean cut? I have a good eye.
