The bowie by Nick Wheeler Looks great. The toast cutters are different. Good job guys keep submitting photos to Blade. :)

Awesome stuff. I love that "Mr. Toasty." :)

Nick's stuff is always top-notch, but it's always nice to see his stuff in there.

Bill, You're in there as are a few other crusty people :)
Guy's if you make knives, you should get Blade and Knives Ill. The mags are good for our industry even if we don't allways agree or like what we see.

Don Thanks for letting me know, I don't get any magazines, you know as well as me that only a few of the Missoury residance have enough edgmication to red, and they all live in Success. But I can skin a possum mighty quick. :D

Bill

Congratulations gentleman, I've been going twice daily (after hours only time I can go) to the PO Box to see if my August issue has arrived!

That's great fellas. The members of shoptalk are really gittin famous. :D Seems every month someone's in there. Hey Kim, who should I submit a pic to? I like to send my Woodcraft/Razorback knife pic to Blade.

did all of our entries get into the magazine? there were originally 10 entries, but one was lost in postal limbo and never found as far as i know.

Cool, my copy probably won't arrive until I leave for Blade. I was pretty tickled to get a bowie in the July issue (and almost had a stroke waiting for the issue to get a look at it). Looks like I'll be dancing on my toes again. Thanks guys.

Bill, it's good to know you eat 'possum down there too. Just ask 'ol Hammerhead Spangler. :D

The "toastcutter" entries shown in Buddy Thomason's article are:

Master Williams, Dan "Shakudo" Morse, Steve Vanderkolff, Don Halter, Bill Butthead, Bill Vining, J. Nielson, Chris Daigle.

Dan, you have three color fotos, one of the whole piece, a closeup of the Celtic brasswork, and one of the arm pivot. Master Williams has a spread of 5 fotos as the intro.....

Congrats to all of you! That was a cool contest and I really enjoyed both your skills and creativity. :)

See, IG, I can be nice sometimes, sorta.... :p

Nick, congrats to you, too on your photo inclusion in Szilaski's column.
