Hi everyone, I would first like to thank all the posters here for helping me learn about forging and building knives. The knowledge genously given here is a true gift. I've been working at making knives for about two years and I'm taking the plung and entered the Southeast custom knife show. Is ten to twelve knives a laughable number for a show? This a hobby for me at the moment but I would love to be able to at least pay for some supplies. Lately, I have forged my blades mainly of 1095 and differentially hardening the blade. I enjoy making larger Bowie style knives but it is not a fast process. Being my first show I have no idea how to price my knives. Is there some formula? Just don't want to embarrass myself. :( Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I will try to get some pics of my work up here

No, 10-12 is what lots of folks bring. If you bring more, it looks as if you can't sell them, or you don't put that much into them. Quality over quantity.

Pics of your work would help
