New blade - Zero Tolerance 0360.SKD

Got a new tactical style blade, and my first ZT. It was a total impulse buy while getting a few other items over at skdtac. From what I read, the 360 model is a design based off the 350, but with a trimmed down blade for less weight. The blade is S30V with a tiger shark tungsten coating. The 360 also features a small carbide glass breaker tip on the pummel side. Grips are textured G10, and like the 350 it has the speedsafe opening which opens with such force it feels like an automatic blade.

I've got the 0360.SKD (the version with the black blade) that I bought from John of JK Knives. Serial Number 0180. Cool knives, interesting shape to the blade. Very responsive opener. That was my first ZT as well and it really got me interested in the brand. Still one of my favorites. :)

I wonder how many they produced? The knives in your signature look amazing.

I've always been curious about the 0360. Looks like it would puncture/penetrate a lot better than the standard 0350.

Nice pics, man. Will you be carrying this regularly?

I don't know how many they produced. Perhaps one of the other owners can chime in here if they know. I did find this old, archived, owners club thread from the now-defunct ZT sub-forum. [Edit: See post #14 below for link]

And thanks for the compliment on the knives in my sig pic. They are two of my favorite knives - 0801CF & 0888MAX. :)

I think I will carry this one when I am not going into the office. I think I could, but I need to check the policy. Today I brought the chive in as its much more discrete.
 
Awesome, prime. Thanks for the response. The Chive is also a winner in my book. Mine fires out like all hell.
 
The 360 has a IMHO better designed blade.

I could never get into the butter knife shape of the 350

Your chive does? Mine actually fails to fully deploy unless i seem to hold it just so and really press quickly on the blade. Maybe there is a break in period.

Hmm you might wanna take a look at that torsion bar. It might be giving out?
 
Lovely! I wish this was a standard production model (with either a flat black or satin blade, never been a fan of tiger stripes).

Note post #3 above or the link in post #14. The black blade is available. Pics available in the link and I have one with the DLC coated black blade. :)

Not production, but not expensive, and in stock on the SKD web site.
