I just got my new bloodwood strop from a forum member, mr2blue.
The craftsmanship is awesome, and the bloodwood makes it look really nice.

I gave it a try...I'm just learning myself.

Very nice, I might have to get one for myself one day.

P.S. use some WD-40, oil, or heat and spread your compound, it will be more effective.

I recommend either some 400 grit sand paper to rough up the leather of use some rubbing alcohol and wet down the leather and set in the sun a spell. It works for me.

The strops break in well. The more they are used the better they get.
