New blue Mini Grip, is this Normal???

Just received a new mini grip from an online authorized dealer. The scales are blue, on the bottom there are two discolored blemishes. Looks like the scales were poorly finished, or is this a knockoff?

My orange Ritter Mini has 'em. I figured it was where they poured the plastic into the mold

All my Griptillans have those as well, I believe it's from the molding process.

My kid has that same knife. I just checked it. Same spots. Normal Benchmade quality.

None of mine has them but I agree they are from the mold.

Yep just from molding. You can safely easily remove with a little light rubbing with sand paper.

^This. I shaved it off with a knife when I received mine and discovered the FRn is actually pretty tough plastic. Sand paper is much cleaner looking.

Yep, lots of folks don’t like the feeling of them, but they r way tougher than they feel.
