Looking at the pics posted by Vincent here in BF from BLADE show I notice this:

Look carefully at the banner just behind Les de Asis... that is not the regular Skirmish that is currently circulating around... is that a new one?

Its a new gold class 635. Notice the gold color on the banner. The rumor is MSRP is only $300.

One of the guys over at BM forum was talking about this--he was talking to Jon (Les's son next to him in the pic) at Blade, and there is evidently going to be a new Gold Class based on the Skirmish coming out some time....sorry--BM nut beat me to it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here you go. Listed MSRP 325 dollars.
Interestingly, the steel is listed as "S30V Premium," compared to S30V Stainless on the normal 635.

Looks like an extra $115 to heat colour the screws, anodize the handles, and change the finish on the blade. Also, different graphic milled into the handle.

If you're looking for something different, not bad, but if it's a user, I'd prefer a straight 635, but that's just me.

It is nice looking.

But, I think a bit more than just looks may be called for (though I'm sure that has to cost more to make).

Let's see what the street price turns out to be.
