Wow! Very nicely done Eric. Quite light weight (5 1/2 oz vs. 8 for my HR) great handle texture and comfortable shape. A little larger than I expected, but a good all-around size IMHO. I think it gets to live on the kitchen butcher block for a little "orientation." It's gonna be a real good slicer of tomatoes and onions until we go camping. Worth the wait!

Mine arrived in Boston today. I'm very impressed by this knife. I think it's the best production blade in its class. The handle is thicker and harder than I expected and very comfortable. The blade is ground thin the way I like it! (I wish the other Rats were ground this thin). If someone makes a horizontal carry kydex sheath for this, I'll be all set. This knife seems like it could do anything from kitchen duty to self defense. Awesome blade! Congratualtions to all the folks at Swamp Rat.

Mine came by USPS but the delivery address was a PO Box. They may use a private carrier for street addresses. I don't know.

It appears larger than it really is. When I first handled it, I thought it looked like it had about a 6" blade. In reality it is just a little longer (overhaul) than the HR

:D:D

What is most surprising to me is the light weight. 5 oz. on my scale. With a minimalist sheath, this rig could be lighter than air. NASA, take note!

Rec'd mine today, Thanks Eric. Great knife that will see a lot of use, once I tire of the Camp Tramp that always seems to be close at hand. Another great product from Swamp Rat. Keep up the good work and high quality control.
Thanks
Tom

The Bog Dog has just come to Italy, too, and I wanna join you all thanking Eric for such a great knife!
Bye
